Deleting your data and closing your account
Deletion covers everything except a tax record and already-anonymised research data, and completes within 30 days. Ask separately for sample destruction.
You can request deletion at any time from by creating ticket below. Deletion covers your sequence data, variant calls, report and raw files across primary storage and backups, and completes within 30 days.
Two things survive deletion because law requires it: a minimal transaction record for tax purposes, and any data already included in an aggregate research dataset that can no longer be traced back to you. Withdrawing research consent stops future use immediately.
Stored physical samples are destroyed on request. Say so explicitly in your request, as sample destruction and data deletion are separate operations.
Deletion is irreversible. Download your report and raw data first if you might want them later — we cannot re-derive them without a new sample.
